Pair of French Art Deco Oak Armchairs in Olive Green Mohair, 1930s

A pair of French Art Deco armchairs dating to the 1930s, sourced in Paris, France. Crafted with oak frames, the chairs have been fully restored in our workshop, including structural revisions, refinishing of the wood, and complete reupholstery. The design features softly rounded upholstered backs, generously proportioned seats, and sculptural open wooden arms with gently curved transitions. The tapered legs and clean architectural lines reflect the restrained elegance of French Art Deco design. Newly upholstered in olive green mohair across the seats and interior backs, the chairs feature complementary green and off-white striped fabric on the outer backs, finished with bias-cut piping for a tailored contrast. Decorative nailhead trim accents the front seat corners above the legs, completing the upholstery with a subtle traditional detail. Well suited for a living room, study, or as distinctive host chairs at a dining table.
