Set of 6 French Art Deco Maple Dining Chairs in Yellow and Moss Green, 1930s

A distinctive set of six French Art Deco dining chairs dating to the 1930s, crafted in maple wood and sourced in Provence, France. The chairs feature clean architectural lines, gently tapered front legs, and subtly curved rear supports that extend into the backrests. Each chair is distinguished by a broad, slightly curved backrest with a sculpted upper edge and a solid wood reverse, reflecting the restrained geometric character of French Art Deco design. The set has been fully restored, including structural revision, refinishing of the maple frames, and new upholstery. The generously padded seats are upholstered in vibrant golden-yellow linen, while the backrests feature Kravet Smart Performance textured chenille in a rich moss green. Contrasting single piping in yellow along the backrests and moss green along the seats creates a tailored finish that complements the warm tones of the wood. The combination of rich wood, contrasting upholstery, and balanced proportions makes this set particularly well suited for both traditional and contemporary dining interiors.
