Antique Spanish Renaissance Revival Walnut Trestle Dining Table
Late 19th century Spanish Renaissance Revival walnut trestle table, sourced in Provence, France. The rectangular top is crafted from solid walnut with a rich warm finish, its surface showing naturally aged character, softened edges, and traces of long use. The base features lyre-form legs joined by shaped stretchers with scrolling cut-outs, anchored by a pegged tenon joint at the center. This traditional construction and the architectural silhouette are hallmarks of Spanish craftsmanship, balancing strength with decorative detail. The table works equally well as a dining or library table. The piece has been structurally revised in our workshop and polished by hand with wax, preserving its historic patina while ensuring it is sturdy and ready for everyday use.
