Charming early 20th century French painted twin size bed frame in the Louis XVI style, sourced in France. The bed features a paneled headboard and footboard with carved floral details, fluted supports, and its original painted finish with an aged patina. Originally made as a European single bed, the frame accommodates a standard US Twin mattress measuring 75" × 38". The interior dimensions of the frame are 75.75" × 41". The bed has been structurally restored, solid and stable. The original painted finish shows age-related wear, losses, marks, and variations in color and patina consistent with age and use.
