An elegant set of six mid 20th century French Louis XVI style dining chairs, sourced in Provence. Each chair presents an arched shield-back with a pierced splat, over a carved seat rail with rosettes at the corners, raised on tapered, fluted legs joined by turned stretchers. The frames have been structurally restored for stability and newly upholstered in a fresh striped linen, complementing the neoclassical form with a crisp, timeless look. The painted finish in a soft antique white, lightly distressed, recalls the pale Gustavian aesthetic while preserving the character of French neoclassicism.
