Sourced from Provence, France, this early 19th century French Louis XVI buffet is crafted in richly figured walnut and crowned with an exceptional dark marble top displaying dramatic fossil-like movement and veining throughout. The façade is detailed with paneled cabinet doors framed in fine brass inlay, fluted corner stiles, and elegantly tapered legs ending in brass sabots, giving the piece a refined neoclassical presence.The warm walnut patina contrasts beautifully against the bold character of the marble, creating a balance between elegance and rustic provincial charm.
