An elegant early 19th-century French Empire daybed sourced from Paris, France. Crafted from solid mahogany, it features the iconic swan-neck ends with finely carved heads, floral rosettes at each corner, and turned tapered legs characteristic of the Empire period. The frame has been professionally restored, structurally reinforced, and refinished to highlight the mahogany's rich reddish-brown tones before being polished with wax. It has been newly upholstered in a textured cream woven fabric with antique brass nailhead trim. The daybed includes a box spring, loose seat cushion, and two cylindrical bolster pillows, making it equally suitable as a seating piece or decorative daybed. Graceful proportions, exceptional craftsmanship, and striking sculptural details make this an outstanding example of early French Empire furniture.
