A monumental and truly one-of-a-kind early 19th century French farmhouse outdoor loveseat bench, sourced from Provence. Originally a functional wagon wheel, this extraordinary piece has been thoughtfully converted into a sculptural garden bench, a rare fusion of rural utility and rustic elegance. Expertly hand-crafted from solid hardwood with a wrought iron tire, the oversized wheel measures 47.5" in diameter and features a large central hub with fourteen chamfered wooden spokes radiating outward. A curved, slatted wooden seat has been seamlessly integrated into the wheel’s frame, creating a unique and inviting seating area. The bench has been structurally restored for stability, while the wood retains its naturally aged patina in tones of light brown, gray, and weathered tan. Solid and stable with excellent craftsmanship throughout, this piece makes a remarkable architectural statement in any garden.
