ON HOLD Antique French Louis XVI Style Painted Accent Chairs in Blue Mohair - A Pair
A refined pair of French Louis XVI style accent side chairs sourced in Paris, dating to the early 20th century. Each chair features a classic shield-form back with gently curved crest rail, fluted tapered legs, and carved rosette blocks at the corners, all characteristic of the Louis XVI canon. The frames retain a softly aged painted finish with hand-applied gilt accents along the seat rail and carved details, showing intentional wear and patina consistent with age. Chairs have been structurally revised in our design studio and are solid and stable for daily use. Newly upholstered in a muted blue mohair with brass nailhead trim. The tailored upholstery and generous seat proportions make these chairs well suited for dining, desk, or accent use in both traditional and transitional interiors.
