Antique French Louis XVI Style Lyre Back Painted Dining Chairs - Set of 6
Elegant set of six late 19th century French Louis XVI style dining chairs sourced in Paris, France. The chairs feature classic medallion backs centered by carved lyre motifs, fluted tapering legs, and restrained floral detailing at the seat rails—hallmarks of the Louis XVI tradition. The frames retain their original painted finish, showing a beautifully aged patina in a warm neutral tone with remnants of blue-green painted accents throughout the carving and moldings. The surface has been gently cleaned and preserved to maintain its authentic character. All chairs have been structurally revised in our design studio and are solid and stable for daily use. The seats have been newly prepared for upholstery and are currently finished in traditional muslin, allowing for customization. Each seat is finished with a welt trim band accented by a subtle decorative stitch. A refined and versatile set, well suited for a dining room, kitchen, or for use throughout an interior as accent seating.
