Gorgeous 19th-century French Louis Philippe-style chest of drawers, sourced from Provence, France. Expertly handcrafted from exquisite bird’s eye maple and recently restored and refinished to highlight its striking grain patterns. In good condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, the piece showcases excellent joinery and craftsmanship throughout. Hand-painted black accents contour the frame and legs, adding a refined touch. The chest offers ample storage with three large drawers and a smaller top drawer, all constructed with dovetail joints and fitted with locks and keys. A carved scalloped apron completes the base. Solid, stable, and full of character, this chest is a beautiful example of timeless Louis Philippe elegance.
