A refined set of six French Art Deco dining chairs sourced in Provence, dating to the late 1920s. The design is defined by sculptural fan-back silhouettes crafted in solid walnut, with gently scalloped crest rails and tapered vertical paneling that emphasizes the clean, architectural lines characteristic of the period. Each chair has been structurally revised in our New York workshop to ensure long-term stability. The walnut frames were carefully refinished to revive the natural warmth and clarity of the wood while preserving subtle age character. Seats were fully reupholstered in a crisp striped linen fabric that complements the streamlined Deco form, finished with piping cut on the bias for a clean, tailored edge. The legs are elegantly tapered with a slight flare, giving the chairs a light, balanced profile.
