Constructed in solid fruitwood, the table features a long rectangular top with a substantial 2.75-inch thickness and softly worn edges from age and use. The table stands on a double trestle base with shaped supports and diamond cutout details, joined by a full-length stretcher for stability. The base retains its original proportions and form, with wide feet that sit firmly on the floor. The piece has been structurally restored, with joints stabilized and the wood carefully cleaned and refinished to revive the grain and original character of the fruitwood.Solid, stable, and suitable for everyday use.
