A handsome set of six Louis XVI-style dining chairs sourced from Provence, France. Each chair showcases a hand-crafted oak frame featuring a square-shaped back. The wood showcases a lovely warm, brown color with remnants of gray paint. The chairs have been structurally restored and newly upholstered in lovely off-white and beige striped chenille fabric. The fabric has been clean-finished with matching single piping trip on the front back and double piping trim on the seat. Supported by gracefully tapered, fluted legs culminating in toupie feet, characteristic of the Louis XVI style, the front legs captivate with beautifully carved rosettes on the corners. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a Traditional French Louis XVI Profile.
