A handsome set of six Louis XVI-style dining chairs sourced from Provence, France. Each chair showcases a hand-crafted frame, featuring a square-shaped painted cane back. The frame has been finished in creamy, antique white paint showcasing a naturally aged patina with some characterfuldistressed areas. The chairs have been structurally restored and newly upholstered in striped blue and white chenille fabric. The fabric has been clean-finished with antique brass nailhead trim. Supported by gracefully tapered, fluted legs culminating in toupie feet, characteristic of the Louis XVI style, the front legs captivate with beautifully molded rosettes on the corners. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a Traditional French Louis XVI Profile.
