A magnificent set of eight late 19th-century French dining chairs made in the style of Louis XIII, sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid oak wood featuring a handsome square-shaped back with rounded corners. The chairs have been structurally restored and newly upholstered in luxurious ivory color chenille Scalamandre fabric. The fabric has been clean-finished with speckled brass nailhead trim. The wood showcases a naturally aged patina with a rich brown color. Raised on elaborately carved turned front legs with rosettes and barley twist legs at the back. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a Traditional Louis XIII profile.
