Mid-19th-century chest of drawers made in French Napoleon III style, sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from mahogany showcasing a naturally aged patina with rich brown color and grains. The dresser is crowned with a new white Carrara marble top. The chest features five storage drawers adorned with geometric marquetry inlay composition. The drawers are constructed with dovetail joints and engraved brass pulls. Framed by two hand-carved fluted columns adorned with brass fittings and carved rosettes decorated with gold leaf paint, this chest is a symbol of enduring solidity and exceptional craftsmanship, embodying the traditional French Napoleon III style in all its glory.
