A large French writing desk or library desk made in Neoclassical Louis XVI style, sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid mahogany wood featuring a rectangular top covered with burgundy red leather. Additionally, the top has two pull-out extension leaves making the total length of the top 101 inches. The wood showcases a naturally aged patina with a rich brown color and grains. The desk is fronted with a total of five drawers construction with dovetail joins. The desk comes with one key. The desk is raised on carved tapered legs ending with brass shoes. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship.
