Expertly hand-crafted from solid walnut, it features a naturally aged patina with rich brown tones and distinctive wood grain. The desk has been structurally restored and is solid, stable, and ready for daily use. It is fronted by a spacious storage drawer with dovetail construction and a wooden knob. The apron clearance measures 25.5" from the floor to the bottom of the drawer, offering comfortable legroom. Raised on traditional hand-carved barley twist legs, the desk is joined by an elegantly curved trestle, exemplifying the Louis XIII style. With excellent joinery and craftsmanship, this piece combines functionality and timeless French charm.
