A magnificent set of six late 19th-century French dining chairs made in the taste of Louis XVI, sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid walnut wood featuring an elegant square back frame decorated with inlay. The wood showcases a naturally aged patina with a rich brown color. The chairs come with their original hand-weaved cane showcasing normal wear for the age and use with some light sagging. The seats are supported by elegant tapered legs ending with brass shoes. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic French Louis XVI silhouette.
