A charming pair of antique side chairs made in the style of Louis XVI, sourced from Provence, France. Each chair showcases a hand-crafted frame, featuring an oval-shaped back hand-painted in creamy antique white color with a crackled naturally aged patina. The chairs have been structurally restored and come with their original blue velvet fabric. The fabric has been clean-finished with nail-head trim. Supported by gracefully tapered, fluted legs culminating in toupie feet, characteristic of the Louis XVI style, the front legs captivate with beautifully carved rosettes on the corners. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a Traditional French Louis XVI Profile.
