The chair features a hand-crafted frame with an oval-shaped back, painted in a creamy white with blue accents that showcase a naturally aged crackled patina. It has been structurally restored and newly upholstered in a dusty blue chenille fabric by Kravet, finished with matching double-piping trim. The chair stands on gracefully tapered, fluted legs that end in toupie feet, a hallmark of the Louis XVI style, with beautifully carved rosettes at the corners of the front legs. Solid and stable, this piece exemplifies excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic French Louis XVI profile.
