An elegant set of six French Art Deco gondola dining chairs sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid walnut wood, these chairs showcase a naturally aged warm patina and rich grain. They have been structurally restored and newly reupholstered in luxurious espresso brown striped velvet. The fabric on the front and back of each chair features a central dart, fanning out the stripes to complement the trapezoid shape of the back. The back is adorned with speckled antique brass nailhead trim, and the seats are accented with single piping trim. These chairs are raised on graceful tapered front legs and saber back legs, offering solid and stable construction with excellent joinery and craftsmanship.
