A characterful set of ten early 20th century Spanish Country dining chairs sourced in Provence. Crafted from solid oak, each chair features a tall, architectural back with deeply scalloped ladder slats and turned stiles capped with finials—an iconic detail of Spanish and Basque Provincial design. The chairs have been structurally revised by our workshop to ensure stability and daily usability. The oak frames were gently waxed to refresh the natural warmth and patina of the wood, while the handwoven natural rush seats were cleaned and shellacked for protection and longevity. The tall backs create an elegant vertical line, and the rush seats offer an inviting textural contrast. Beautifully suited for Mediterranean-inspired spaces, farmhouse dining, or any interior seeking an authentic old-world presence. A cohesive and increasingly hard-to-find set of ten.
