Late 19th-century French writing desk made in the style of Henry II, sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid walnut wood featuring a 4'2" long rectangular top with a beveled edge. The wood showcases a naturally aged patina with a rich brown color. The desk has two storage drawers constructed with dovetail joints with one working lock. The desk is raised on hand-carved tapered legs conjoined by curved stretchers with a spindle trestle. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a Traditional Henry II Renaissance profile.
