Late 19th-century French provincial wash table or vanity made in the taste of Louis Philippe, sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid walnut and decorated with burl veneer showcasing a naturally aged warm patina with rich grains. The top of the wash table is crowned with gorgeous white marble. The washstand is cased with two carved storage drawers constructed with dovetail joints and wooden knobs. Each side has decorative towel rails. The table is raised on hand-carved, turned front legs and square legs at the back. The legs are conjoined with a low shelf. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classing French Provincial profile.
