This late 19th century French Louis Philippe style drop-leaf oval extendable dining table hails from Provence and is beautifully handcrafted from solid walnut, showcasing a warm, naturally aged patina that highlights the rich grain of the wood. The table has been structurally restored for long-lasting durability while maintaining its original charm. It includes three pine extensions, allowing it to extend to over 7 feet in length—perfect for larger gatherings. With an apron clearance of 23.5" from the floor, it comfortably accommodates most standard dining chairs. The table stands on classic turned legs with brass-capped feet and casters, supported by two additional center legs when extended. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship, this versatile piece captures the understated elegance of the Louis Philippe period and functions beautifully as a dining table, kitchen table, or console when the leaves are down.
