A traditional pair of 1930s French Art Deco leather club chairs sourced in Provence, France. These generous fauteuils feature scalloped backs with softly rounded silhouettes, enveloping rolled arms, and deep seats. Upholstered in supple cognac brown leather with a warm patina, they are finished with hand-applied speckled brass nailhead trim that traces the contours of the arms and back. The loose seat cushions show natural wear and creasing, adding to their authentic character, while the frames rest on traditional walnut ball feet at the front and square block feet at the rear. Solidly constructed and well proportioned, they embody the understated luxury and comfort associated with French club seating of the Art Deco period. Structurally, with age-appropriate wear to the leather and surface marks to the feet, consistent with use. A timeless pair with presence and warmth, suited to both modern and traditional interiors.
