19th-century Country French farmhouse trestle dining table, writing table, or large console, sourced from Provence, France. Expertly hand-crafted from solid walnut, it features a long, narrow rectangular plank top with breadboard ends, joined using traditional mortise-and-tenon construction and exposed wooden dowels throughout. The table has been structurally restored while preserving its warm, aged patina and the rich character of the walnut grain. It includes two central storage drawers, built with dovetail joints and finished with wrought iron pulls. With an apron clearance of 23.55" from the floor to the bottom edge, the table stands on square walnut legs connected by a classic trestle base. Solid and stable, it showcases exceptional joinery and craftsmanship in a timeless Traditional French Country silhouette.
