An elegant set of six French Louis XVI-style dining chairs, sourced from Provence. Each chair features a hand-crafted maple wood frame with an oval medallion back. Two chairs are slightly larger, traditionally used as host chairs at the ends of a dining table. Expertly restored and gently refinished, the set showcases a warm, rich brown tone that highlights the natural grain of the wood. The chairs are newly upholstered in a luxurious striped white chenille fabric, finished with clean single piping along the back and a welt band around the seat. Gracefully tapered, fluted legs with classic toupie feet provide elegant support, while carved rosettes at the corners of the front legs add a refined decorative touch. Solid, stable, and crafted with exceptional joinery—these chairs are a timeless example of French craftsmanship.
