Expertly hand-crafted from solid maple, the chairs have been structurally restored for stability and gently polished, revealing a rich brown tone with a beautifully aged natural patina. The chairs retain their original brown leather upholstery, finished with gold leaf trim and classic nailhead detailing. The leather displays its original character, with visible signs of age including natural cracking and areas of tasteful distress—adding to the set’s authentic charm. The serpentine curves along the front and sides of the seat enhance the silhouette, while hand-carved cabriole legs ending in scroll toes echo the timeless Louis XV influence. Solid and stable with excellent joinery, this set reflects traditional French Country elegance and craftsmanship.
