Handcrafted with an oval medallion back, the frame is painted in a creamy antique white with a naturally aged crackled patina and areas of characterful distressing. The chair has been structurally restored for stability and newly reupholstered in a luxurious light pink peony velvet, finished with matching single piping trim. It stands on gracefully tapered, fluted legs that end in classic toupie feet, with finely carved rosettes at the corners of the front legs—hallmarks of the Louis XVI style. Solid and stable, this piece showcases excellent joinery and timeless French craftsmanship in a refined, elegant profile.
