Antique French Louis XVI Style Painted Dining Chairs in Teal Mohair - Set of 8

This elegant set of eight antique French dining chairs is executed in the Louis XVI style and dates to the early 20th century. Sourced in Paris, the chairs retain their original teal mohair upholstery, a richly toned textile that adds depth and refinement while speaking to the quality of the original production. The oval backs, fluted tapering legs, and carved rosette corner blocks reflect the restrained neoclassical vocabulary characteristic of the Louis XVI tradition. The solid wood frames preserve their original painted finish, which has developed a soft, nuanced patina over time.
