An exquisite set of four late 19th-century French dining chairs in the Louis XVI style, sourced from Provence, France. Each chair features a hand-carved oval-shaped medallion cane back, finished in creamy white paint with a naturally aged patina and characterful distressed areas. Structurally restored, the chairs have been newly upholstered in luxurious striped Kravet Couture fabric in off-white and dark blue. The fabric is clean-finished with hand-made matching welt trim, using the blue stripe for contrast. Gracefully tapered, fluted legs with toupie feet reflect the elegance of the Louis XVI style, while intricately carved rosettes adorn the front corners. Solid and stable, these chairs showcase excellent joinery and craftsmanship in a timeless Traditional French Louis XVI profile.
