Each chair features an oval backrest, newly upholstered with a sophisticated combination of fabrics: the seats in a deep navy performance velvet for durability and comfort, and the backs in a crisp white linen with fine navy vertical stripes, outlined with a matching navy velvet piping. The finely hand-carved hardwood frames retain their original creamy painted finish, showing naturally aged patina and subtle distressed areas that highlight the carved rosettes and fluted details along the stiles and legs. Raised on classic tapered and fluted legs ending in toupie feet, the pair reflects the timeless elegance of the Louis XVI tradition while incorporating a fresh, tailored fabric scheme. Solid and stable with structurally revised frames, these chairs are ready for everyday use and offer an elegant blend of durability, comfort, and French refinement.
