The hand-crafted frame features an elegant oval backrest and is finished in a soft creamy white with a naturally aged patina and tasteful areas of distressing that speak to its history. Recently restored for structural integrity, the chair is solid, stable, and ready for everyday use. It has been newly upholstered in a delicate floral linen with a light blue background, finished with matching single piping along the backrest and a clean welt trim around the seat. The chair stands on classic tapered and fluted legs terminating in toupie feet, a hallmark of the Louis XVI style, with finely carved rosettes accenting the front corners. Exposed wooden dowels throughout reflect the exceptional joinery and craftsmanship. A timeless French silhouette perfect for refined interiors.
