A stunning 1930s French Art Deco writing desk sourced directly from Provence, France. Expertly handcrafted from solid oak, it features a rectangular top with a beveled edge. The desk has been structurally restored to ensure it is solid, stable, and ready for daily use, while the wood showcases a naturally aged warm patina with striking Tiger Oak grain patterns. The desk includes a central storage drawer with dovetail joints and a metal pull. The apron clearance measures 24.25" from the floor to the bottom of the drawer, providing ample legroom. It is supported by hand-carved square legs that end in block heels, joined by an H-shaped trestle. This desk is solid and stable, with excellent joinery and craftsmanship, offering a classic Art Deco profile that is both functional and timeless.
