Gorgeous, French provincial Louis XVI style painted parlor suite from Provence, France. The set consists of a loveseat with four armchairs. The set features a hand-molded frame with an oval-shaped medallion back finished in a light creamy antique white lacquer with a naturally aged crackle patina. The chairs and loveseat come with their original dark blue color velvet fabric, clean-finished with nailhead trim. The seats are supported by elegant tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet typical for Louis XVI chairs. The front legs are also decorated with carved rosettes on the corners. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic French silhouette and beautiful color combination.
