A charming pair of late-19th-century Louis XVI-style accent chairs, sourced from Provence, France. Each features a hand-crafted maple frame with a square back, hand-painted in creamy antique white with a naturally distressed patina revealing hints of wood beneath. Structurally restored and gently waxed, the chairs are newly reupholstered in a light blue/seaglass herringbone fabric, beautifully contrasting the aged finish. Matching double piping on the back and a welt band on the seat add refined detail. Supported by tapered, fluted legs with classic toupie feet and carved rosettes, these solid and elegant chairs reflect the timeless grace of French design.
