A refined late 19th-century French Provincial drop-leaf table, handcrafted from solid walnut and sourced from Provence, France. The circular top is finished in a warm medium-brown tone that highlights the expressive grain patterns and naturally aged patina of the wood. Recently structurally restored and refinished, the surface now showcases the walnut’s rich figuring and depth of color while preserving its antique character. Two hinged leaves extend the surface when needed, and the apron houses a single center drawer with a turned wooden knob for convenient storage. Raised on four turned and fluted legs, the table reflects the skilled craftsmanship of the period. Solid and functional, this versatile piece serves equally well as a dining table, occasional table, or space-saving solution in both traditional and modern interiors.
