Late 19th-century set of eight French Renaissance leather dining chairs hand-crafted from walnut in the style of Henry II. The set features solid wood construction with elaborately carved details with intact back spindles and finials. The wood showcases a naturally aged patina with lovely walnut grains and rich brown color. The chairs come with their original aged, patinated, dark brown tooled leather clean-finished with brass nail heads. The chairs are raised on hand-carved turned legs conjoined by a curved stretcher.
