Gorgeous late 20th century Italian Biedermeier style semainier or chest of drawers made by Guido Zichele for Bloomingdale's. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid cherry wood and lined with fine poplar burl wood veneer decorated with black trims. The wood showcases a naturally aged patina with rich amber color. The semainier features seven large storage drawers constructed with dovetail joints, original shield hardware with working lock and keys. The original tag with the maker is stapled on the back.
