A lovely set of four French provincial painted dining chairs made in the taste of Louis XVI. The chairs feature a hand-molded frame with a square-shaped back and hand-painted white lacquer decorated with pastel green accents. The finish of the paint showcases a naturally aged patina with some distressed areas. The chairs are upholstered in light green fabric. The seats are supported by elegant tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet typical for Louis XVI chairs. The front legs are also decorated with molded rosettes on the corners— excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a traditional French silhouette and beautiful color combination.
