A handsome French writing desk or library desk made in Neoclassical Louis XVI style, sourced from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid mahogany wood featuring a rectangular top covered with brown leather. The wood showcases a naturally aged patina with a rich brown color and grains. The desk is fronted with five storage drawers constructed with dovetail joins. The drawers and side of the desk are decorated with bras trims. The desk comes with one key. The desk is raised on carved tapered legs ending with brass shoes. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship.
