Magnificent early 19th-century French Renaissance leather bench entirely hand-crafted from solid walnut in the style of Henry II. The there-seater bench features solid wood construction with hand-carved details and intact spindles. The bench is upholstered with its original hand-tooled aged brown leather in preserved condition with some distressed areas cleaned finished with oversized brass trim. Supported by turned baluster legs having center tapered fluted columns conjoined with a beveled serpentine-shaped cross stretcher. Solid and stable with spacious seating area. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a traditional French Henry II silhouette.
