Early 19th-century rustic country French provincial writing desk or side table. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid oak featuring a rectangular top constructed with exposed wooden dowels. The top showcases a naturally aged distressed patina on the wood finish with a beautiful natural brown color. The case is fronted by one carved storage drawer supported by round-turned legs constructed with exposed wooden dowels. Beautifully crafted with excellent joinery and craftsmanship that showcases the lovely oak grain patterns with an aged patina. The desk measures 23 inches from the floor to the apron.
