19th Century Country French Provincial Oak Writing Table W/ Leather Top

19th-century country French provincial writing desk or library table. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid oak constructed with 4.29 feet long rectangular top. The top is covered with a chartreuse color leather decorated with gold leaf trim. The leather top showcases a naturally aged patina that contrasts beautifully with the rich brown oak color of the desk. The case is fronted by two large storage drawers with brass lion head pulls constructed with dovetail joints. The rectangular top is supported by an apron with a clearance of 24-inches. The table is raised on four tapered legs. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship and a Classic French provincial profile.

- Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with age-appropriate wear. Naturally patina on the leather top and wood finish as seen in photos.
