Beautifully hand-crafted from solid walnut featuring a rectangular top constructed with exposed wooden dowels and beveled edge. The top showcases a naturally aged warm patina with rich brown color. The frieze has one spacious storage drawer constructed with dovetail joints and solid brass pull rings. The apron clearance measures 24.25-inches from the floor to the apron. The desk is supported by hand-carved elegant tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet typical for Louis XVI style. The legs are conjoined with stretchers and a trestle with a central finial. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship and a Classic Louis XVI provincial profile.
