Antique set of four painted wool dining chairs made in the style of French Louis XVI. The chairs feature a hand-molded frame with an oval-shaped medallion back finished in a light creamy antique white lacquer with a naturally aged crackle patina. The chairs are upholstered in embroidered orange wool fabric, clean-finished with matching lace trim. The seats are supported by elegant tapered, fluted legs ending with painted orange toupie feet typical for Louis XVI chairs. The front legs are also decorated with carved rosettes on the corners. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic French silhouette and beautiful color combination.
