A traditional set of eight painted dining chairs made in the style of French Louis XVI. The set consists of 4 side chairs and 4 armchairs. The chairs feature a hand-molded frame with an oval-shaped medallion back finished in a light creamy antique white lacquer with a naturally aged crackle patina with some distressed areas. The chairs are upholstered in mustard yellow velvet fabric, clean-finishedwith brass tack nailhead trim. The seats are supported by elegant tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet typical for Louis XVI chairs. The front legs are also decorated with carved rosettes on the corners. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic French silhouette and beautiful color combination.
